Telekom Malaysia Bids To Become Hub For Asia Posted on: 09/01/2006 Telekom Malaysia (TM) is expanding its Global IP network to position Malaysia as a hub for Asia. TM will target voice and data transmission originating from Asia and terminating in Europe, America, the Middle East and Africa. The company has established representative offices in countries such as Hong Kong, the UK, US and Singapore and will be opening new offices in other regions. It also has international subsidiaries and associated companies in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Cambodia and Pakistan. TM sees global reach and competitive pricing as the key drivers for the redistribution of traffic and will focus efforts on regional players to transit in Malaysia.
