BellSouth Sues City Of Greensboro for Seizure Of Property For Road Widening Posted on: 14/09/2006 BellSouth is suing the City of Greensboro for nearly $753,000 after being forced to relocate facilities in advance of two road widening projects.The suit, filed last week in U.S. District Court, alleges the City conducted an unconstitutional “taking” when it refused to reimburse BellSouth after compelling the company to move fiber optic and copper cables and other communications equipment previously located in company-owned easements.
